My nod to Thanksgiving while overseas. That turkey and stuffing sandwich has some incredible onion marmalade on it. Still, I’m missing home and Toph’s green beans and Mom’s stuffing. At least I’ve got pecan pie.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I’m starting a 24-hour news network that will just be a slide show of kittens, puppies, bunnies, koala bears, Ryan Gosling, fat cats, Emma Stone, fart noises and a news ticker.

Oh my God you guys, it happened again. We all know how I feel about sneaky Starburst and their tricky disguised disgusting flavors. I thought I was past all that. I thought I had learned. But no.

Today I bought a Starburst pack. Just the regular kind. I thought, “Well, Chels, you know better than to try exotic flavors. Just stick with the normal, yellow pack.” And I did. But the Brits snuck a terrible treat in with the good ones. There’s this purple flavor. It looks like it’s meant to be grape, but you bite into it and you basically want to die. It tasted like pepper and perfume. Like someone sprayed perfume in my face along with a dash of black pepper. I actually choked.

A lot of the candy here tastes a little perfumey. Sort of like flowers instead of fruit. But this. This was absolutely horrendous. Is this what it feels like to grow up? Is this why grownups don’t eat candy? Because you hit a certain age and it just tastes bad? I refuse to believe that.

I will never forgive you, Starburst. Never.
